Seems to me that everyone misses the point.

In my opinion, what has happened is that the internet has distorted that paradign such that people could see further and come to the conclusion that they could move somewhere else. As such, the ‘reins’ houe prices/wages have been pulled in. Simple as that.

In the UK this is coupled with an outsourcing of slavery.

In the UK we had council houses, but the terms were too generous. The tyrants were sore that council tennents were no incentified to seek work when they could live in a council house forever.

So the governemnt outsources rental accompodation to evil minded BTL entrupeners who were more than happy to have their mates call on you at all hours to collect the rent if needed.

To beleive that any governemnt is so stupid not to maintain control over something as critical as house is nieve. They have allowed this situation to develop.
