Goa Attack — 1990 (Tuareg Rebellion (1990–1995))
This scenario represents the beginning of the 1990 to 1995 Tuareg Rebellion.
Initially, Tuareg separatists attack government buildings in Gao. However, the Malian Army carries out reprisals that lead to a full blown rebellion and what is also called the 1990–1995 Civil War.
The reprisals can be represented by the Mali motorised units attacking the Tuareg irregular unit as well as the Tuareg tribes/nomads that have 0–0–2 factors and are effectivly non-combatents. This then causes more Tuereg irregulars to appear which is then matched by the Mali Army, resulting in the civil war.
This scenario is only designed to give an overview of the main sequence of play in 1990 and possibly 1991. THe conflict itself died down in 1992 after a new govrnment was formed and in 1995 a peace settlement was signed.
